Information we collect

Pressrun collects information you provide to us, such as your name, email address, mobile phone number, account information, project details, interview recordings, transcripts, manuscripts, and messages with our team. We also collect limited technical and usage information needed to secure, operate, and improve the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure Pressrun, authenticate users, communicate about book projects, schedule and conduct interviews, create and deliver project materials, process payments, provide support, comply with law, and improve our services.

Text messages and mobile information

Mobile phone numbers collected for text messaging are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with the messaging providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, whether by SMS, RCS, or iMessage.

Pressrun uses two message streams. The verification stream sends one SMS code for each sign-up, log-in, or password-reset attempt you initiate. The business-message stream covers your book project, including scheduling and draft updates, and may reach you by SMS, RCS, or iMessage depending on your device; frequency varies and is typically fewer than 5 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

When we disclose information

We disclose information to service providers that help us operate Pressrun, including hosting, authentication, messaging, payment, analytics, and professional-services providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. Messaging consent and mobile information are not transferred for third parties' marketing purposes.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions. You can stop business text messages at any time by replying STOP. Authentication messages are sent only when you request a verification code.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised date here. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to privacy@pressrun.ai or through our support page.
